Registry Disclaimer

1. What DiecastVerified is

DiecastVerified is an informational, community-maintained identity and reference registry. A listing records that:

• a collector identity was submitted to the community,
• a Facebook profile (when provided) was associated with that identity,
• community references were provided during the listing process, and
• the entry was reviewed by community administrators before being added to the registry.

2. What DiecastVerified is not

DiecastVerified is not, and does not act as:

• a marketplace, escrow service, or payment processor;
• an authentication service for products or goods;
• a fraud-prevention or insurance service;
• a rating, ranking, or recommendation service; or
• a guarantor of any transaction between users.

3. No endorsement

The presence of a person, name, Facebook profile, or any other identifier in the registry is not an endorsement by DiecastVerified, ClubTuned, or any administrator. It is not a statement that the listed person is honest, solvent, skilled, safe to transact with, or likely to perform any future transaction as promised.

4. Community references are subjective

References, vouches, comments, and community input that contribute to a listing reflect the opinions and experiences of the people who provided them. Those opinions may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. The registry should never be used as a substitute for your own independent verification.

5. Users assume all transaction risk

Any transaction you enter into with another collector is solely between you and that person. You assume all risk associated with that transaction, including the risk of loss, fraud, misrepresentation, non-delivery, counterfeit goods, payment disputes, and any other harm.

6. We are not responsible for transactions

DiecastVerified, ClubTuned, and the community administrators are not parties to any transaction between users and are not responsible for the conduct, statements, listings, payments, shipments, or outcomes of any transaction. We do not mediate disputes between users.

7. Do your own due diligence

Before sending money, shipping goods, or entering into any agreement, you should independently verify the other person's identity, the existence and condition of any item, the legitimacy of any payment method, and any other fact you consider material. The registry is one optional reference point, not a substitute for your own judgment.

8. Status changes and review

The community administrators may, in their sole discretion, add, remove, suspend, or change the status of any listing, including placing a listing under review. A change in status is not a public accusation of wrongdoing — it is an internal administrative action reflected on the listing.
