About the registry

Preserving a community-built verification process

DiecastVerified.com is a community identity and reference registry for diecast collectors. Its purpose is narrow: it confirms that a specific person has been added to the community list, links to that person's Facebook profile, and records community references. It is not a marketplace, escrow service, authentication service, rating site, or guarantor of any transaction. Inclusion here is not an endorsement and is not a promise of honesty, authenticity, shipping, or future conduct.

The registry draws on long-standing community reference lists maintained inside the diecast collector community on Facebook and elsewhere. This site simply makes that information searchable.

The original review process, references, and human judgement all stay where they belong — inside the community. Collectors remain fully responsible for their own due diligence before buying, selling, or trading.

How verification works

  1. Submit a verification request through this site or the Facebook group.
  2. Provide references from already-verified collectors.
  3. A community reviewer manually evaluates the submission.
  4. Approved collectors receive a verified ID (for example Z10) and appear in this registry.

Privacy

Public profiles never expose raw Facebook URLs as text. When a member has a Facebook profile on record, visitors see a clearly labeled button that opens the profile in a new tab.
