Preserving a community-built verification process

For years, Melinda Bly has maintained a respected list of verified diecast buyers and sellers inside the Diecast Reference Check Facebook community. That list has helped countless collectors transact with confidence.

DiecastVerified.com is the public lookup companion to that community. It is not a marketplace, a rating site, or a replacement for the Facebook group. It is a respectful, modernized way to confirm whether someone already appears on the existing verified list.

The original verification process, references, and human review all stay where they belong — inside the community. This site only makes the resulting list easy to search.

How verification works

1. Submit a verification request through this site or the Facebook group.
2. Provide references from already-verified collectors.
3. A community reviewer manually evaluates the submission.
4. Approved collectors receive a verified ID (for example Z10) and appear in this registry.

Privacy

Public profiles never expose raw Facebook URLs as text. When a member has a Facebook profile on record, visitors see a clearly labeled button that opens the profile in a new tab.
